Your first session
What happens before, during and after
The first visit is with the adults. The child comes in at the second.
Step 1: Before
We send a link to the intake form, which lives in the practice’s own portal and not on this site, and the consent paperwork for your child’s situation. If you pay without insurance, you also receive the good faith estimate in writing.
Step 2: During
Lissette explains how she works, the limits of confidentiality and the possible risks and benefits of therapy. Then she listens to what you want to share about your child and your home. You do not have to tell it all at once.
Step 3: After
You decide together whether to continue, and when the child joins. If you would rather look for someone else, we give you names.

The first visit is a conversation for the adults, in the quiet room next door.
Bring the paperwork you have, and nothing you do not. A visit is 50 minutes.
